On the day of its release, Bharat raked in a staggering Rs 42.30 crore and dethroned Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore) to become the biggest opener of Salman's career. With Bharat, Salman Khan becomes the only actor to have the highest number of films in the coveted Rs 100-crore club. Out of the 14 films that have achieved this feat, three films have crossed the Rs 300-crore mark, while two films have whizzed past the Rs 200-crore milestone.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film hit the screens on June 5, 2019. Bharat also features Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff and Sonali Kulkarni in key roles.
