Bidisha Bezbaruah’s suicide: Friends under shock over death of 'Jagga Jasoos' actress, recalls her as jolly person

A popular face of the Assamese Film industry, Bidisha Bezbaruah, who was also seen in a small role in Jagga Jasoos was found dead in her Gurugram flat on Monday evening. Friends and colleagues of actor-singer flooded social media with her shocking death news.

Bidisha’s junior at Cotton College in Guwahati Preeti Priyadarshinee admired her and said, "Bidisha was a mature girl and had always had a positive outlook. So, the suicide is a big shock for all of us’’.

One of her colleague, Simanta Shekhar, remembers Bidisha and said, "She was very excited about getting married to Nisheeth. It was a love marriage and within 14 months, his alleged affair forced her to end her life. I still can't believe a person as affable as Bidisha could take such a step’’.

A close friend of Bidisha’s brother, Hriday Haloi recalled her and said, "She was a very jolly girl. It is impossible to think you could do this to yourself’.
