Blackbuck poaching case: Bollywood celebrities extend support to Salman Khan

Bollywood celebrities have extended their support to Salman Khan who was convicted by Jodhpur court for killing an endangered blackbuck. The Sultan actor was sentenced to five-year-imprisonment and also handed a penalty of Rs 10,000.

Many members of the film fraternity have said that the Wanted actor paid the price of being a star. Leading tinsel town stars took to Twitter to voice their support for Salman Khan.

Preity Zinta who visited the Ek Tha Tiger actor in Jodhpur jail on Friday took to Instagram to share an inspirational message for him. She wrote, ''This too shall pass! When all else fails it’s Hope one holds on too!’’.

Remo D’Souza who is directing Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Race 3 also posted a picture on social media, with the caption, ‘’All I know is I love @beingsalmankhan and a big fan of him as an actor but bigger FAN as a human.’’

Subhash Ghai, who worked with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor in Yuvraaj said that he had full confidence in the Judiciary and called Salman the most loved person in the industry. 

Arjun Rampal, Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol also responded to the verdict by Jodhpur Court.
