Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was granted bail in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, on Friday filed a plea in the Jodhpur sessions court, seeking permanent permission to travel abroad.

The court will rule on Saturday if the superstar needs to seek its permission every time he travels outside country.

Khan's counsel Mahesh Bora, who moved the application before the court, said, Salman is a superstar and his profession demands him to travel abroad frequently.

Public prosecutor P R Bishnoi opposed the application for exemption from travel permission, arguing that the trial will be over soon. The court, however, reserved its order on the application and will pronounce it on Saturday.
