Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Javed Akhtar slauted the country and wished their fans on the 68th Republic Day.

Bachchan shared pictures of him with the tri-colour and wrote, “Happy Republic Day... greetings to all.. JAI HIND !!  January 26th.”

Extending his Republic Day wishes, Aamir tweeted, “Wishing everyone a very happy Republic Day!”

Lyricist Javed Akhtar posted, “Happy Republic day to all fellow Indians.”

“MS Dhoni” star Sushant Singh Rajput wrote, “The love of one’s country is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border? #RepublicDay.”

“Happy Republic Day to all of us. Jai Hind,” actor Anupam Kher said.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor tweeted, “Happy #RepublicDay ! A big salute to our beautiful country; for being so wonderfully cultural to progressing each day. Proud to be an Indian!”

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli said that he watched the Republic Day parade on TV with his daughter.

“As a child my parents would make me watch the 26th January parade on #doordarshan. Continuing the tradition with my daughter #RadhaKohli,” he wrote.

Actor Varun Dhawan posted a picture of him holding the tri-colour and wrote, “Wishing every one a very happy #RepublicDay. We have a lot to be proud. The future is Indian.”

“Commemorating the adoption, enactment and enforcement of the constitution of India on this 68th anniversary! Happy Republic Day!” Arjun Kapoor tweeted.

“Happy Republic Day! Proud to be an Indian! Salute  to the great leaders who framed our Constitution! Salute our Armed Forces! Jai Hind,” actress Renuka Shahane posted on Twitter.

Actor Randeep Hooda said, “Let’s uphold the values and laws laid out in our constitution.. #RepublicDay.”

“Happy Republic day to all Indians all over the world.  Make India progressive, not regressive. Make India proud, not ashamed,” Aftab Shivdasani tweeted.

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari said, “Sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic, republic ......justice, equality, liberty, fraternity... #India #MayWeNeverForget #HappyRepublicDay.”

“Happy #RepublicDay India. Today is a celebration of our fundamental rights & duties. A celebration of our constitution,” Dia Mirza said.
