New Delhi:
Ministry of External Affairs on February 26th confirmed that a MiG-21 was lost in the aerial retaliation and a wing Commander is in Pakistan's custody. Soon a video of the captive, treated brutally by the Pakistani forces started doing the rounds and Indians on Twitter started praying for his safe return.
Even Bollywood celebs empathized with the situation and took to Twitter and other forms of social media on Wednesday to pray for the Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot safe return to India.

Meanwhile, Indian government also strongly objected to Pakistan’s vulgar display of injured personnel of the Indian Air Force in violation of all norms of International Humanitarian Law and the Geneva Convention. It was made clear that Pakistan would be well advised to ensure that no harm comes to the Indian defence personnel in its custody. India also expects his immediate and safe return. Â
