Bollywood music composer Vishal Dadlani calls demonetisation move a complete disaster

Bollywood music composer Vishal Dadlani has severely criticised the Centre's move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes and subsequent problems faced by public. Government had to face Dadlani's wrath on account of its poor implementation of the policy also.

In a series of tweets, the 43-year-old musician has lashed out at the BJP led-government, saying the demonetisation plan is a "joke." "

If it's true that 2,00,000 ATMs will have to be recalibrated before they can dispense the new currency, this demonetisation "plan" is a JOKE (sic)," he wrote.

Replying to a Twitter user, Dadlani posted, "That's what nobody understands. I was one of the first to speak in support of Demonetisation. But the planning is an utter disaster!"

He further added, "Most of them can't even buy train tickets right now. No cash, and if they do have new 2000 rupee notes, no change!"
