Housefull began its journey as a stand-alone comedy film in 2010, but what followed was extraordinary response from the fans that helped the film turn into a popular franchise.
It was in 2010 that Sajid Khan got Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh on board for Housefull, and the superhit on-screen duo has continued to make the viewers and fans of the series laugh out loud in the last eight years with two more instalments.
Now, Sajid along with his trump cards Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh are back for Housefull 4.
But, Housefull 4 has some new additions as well – Bobby Deol has been roped in for the fourth instalment of the Housefull franchise, and the boys have already started shooting for the film.
Akshay took to Twitter to share a picture from Day 1 and wrote, "It's time to be a Silver Fox, break @thedeol's funny bone and play every game under the sun with my buddy @RiteishD!! Because the Boyz are Back with 4 Times the Fun #HouseFull4."

Sajid Khan is making a comeback to the franchise as a director. The film, which is set to hit the screens in November 2019, also stars Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda.
