During his London visit, SRK in an interview with BBC spilt beans about his upcoming project after rumours made rounds that he is taking too long to sign a new film keeping in mind the fact that all his last releases were box office dud.Â
Without revealing the name of the project or his character, the 'Zero' actor said that he is ready to play a 'sexy father' on the big screen. King Khan stated, "My next role will be as sexy as my last one. So you want me to be a sexy father, a sexy hero, sexy whatever you want me to be. My next role will be as sexy as you want me to be."
Speaking about how the role of women in the film industry is changing for better here, Shah Rukh said, "The roles of women and the kind of attitude you have at the workplace for women is changing for positive. There will be discrepancies and ups and downs too. There were times when I was working in the ‘90s that if a lady got married, she normally did not have the opportunity to come back and act in a film but now all of them are acting in films and its so seamless and nice, so I think lots of positive stuff for female actors in the film industry."

Some reports claimed that Shah Rukh's next film is going to be Don 3 but producer Ritesh Sidhwani said that they are still working on the script. There were also reports that claimed he might come on board for Madhur Bhandarkar's Inspector Ghalib. But, then the filmmakers have not made any official confirmation.
The actor already has honorary doctorates from The University of Bedfordshire and The University of Edinburgh. He was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
