Bollywood is currently facing the bad time, such much-hyped films like Bachchan Paandey, Attack Part I, Jersey, Runway 34, Heropanti 2, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Dhaakad, Anek collapsed at Box Office, post-COVID, there was big hope on these star stud movies but only three movies The Kashmir Files, Gangubai and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 brought some hope.
Now all eyes on upcoming Hindi film of 2022 ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, the story of bravery of Hindu Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, trade analysts expecting that the film can end the drought at Box Office or can bring the hope for Bollywood movies, another side trailer received mixed reviews, moviegoers mocked Akshay Kumar, claimed that he is not suitable for the royal character of King Prithviraj.
Key points indicate towards Box Office success
1- Big Banner Yash Raj Films and director Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s collaboration is the most hopeful point, the director is best known for his TV series Chanakya.
2- Yash Raj Films’ expensive period war drama Samrat Prithviraj budget is said to be around Rs 300 Cr, visuals can be treated to watch.
3- Stars like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood’s trio will pull the audiences and the former Miss World Manushi Chhillar’s debut can add masala to this war drama.
4- There is no big clash in Hindi but South Indian movies Vikram and Major can be challenging as the South Indian Cinema craze is high at this time.
5- The latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is closer to 150 Cr and completed almost two weeks in the theaters, now Prithviraj is releasing in 4000+ screens domestically, however mixed to positive reviews can save the film.
Only good or strong content will win at this time because moviegoers are not interested in Bollywood, if Vikram or Major works like Pushpa and KGF 2 then it will be very tough for Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj.
