Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput’s highly anticipated film, Chhichhore hit the screens today. Helmed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the plot of the film revolves around seven college friends who, after having a gala time during their student life, reunite in their older days. Chhichhore also stars Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Shukla and Naveen Polishetty in prominent roles.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh described the film as ''delightful’’. ''#Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari is in top form yet again... Has several brilliant moments... Three aces: Emotions, humour, finale... Sushant, Shraddha, Varun excel... Could’ve done with shorter run time. #ChhichhoreReview,’’ he wrote.
After watching Chhichhore, Fatima wrote her review of it on her Instagram story and described the film as "lovely and moving".
"Loved Chhichhore!!! Such a lovely and moving film. And how amazing everyone in the film was. Everyone was just outstanding," Fatima wrote. "Nitesh ji, bohot hi pyaari film," she added.

Just a few days ago, Varun Dhawan also complimented Chhichhore and Nitesh Tiwari. "Watched Chhichhore last night. Had a blast, Nitesh Tiwari. What an amazing film with a beautiful message. You will come home with the whole group. I have 3 people very close to me associated with this film. Go catch it everyone," Varun tweeted.
Film producer Murad Khetani wrote on Twitter, "Just Saw Chhichhore. It's incredibly mind blowing & extraordinary. Never laughed and cried so much at the same time. All the best to whole team #SajidNadiadwala @WardaNadiadwala @niteshtiwari22 @itsSSR @ShraddhaKapoor @varunsharma90."
Salman Khan’s brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma also praised the film and tweeted, “Some films make you cry, laugh and leave you with a thought.. #Chichhore is a film like that.. one of the finest films I’ve seen lately..please go and watch it @itsSSR @varunsharma90.”
Earlier, in an interview with IndiaToday.in, Nitesh Tiwari had said, ''Shraddha and Sushant surprised me during Chhichhore. They exceeded my expectations," he said, praising their commitment to the film. "Both Sushant and Shraddha suffered emotionally for Chhichhore. Because they were internalising their characters so much, they didn't want to use external help to express their emotions. And that affected their health in the film also.''
