Vidyut Jammwal starrer Commando 3 is having a dream run at the box-office. The film has collected Rs 21 crore at the box office in just four days of its release. Commando 3 opened at Rs.4.74 on Friday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures, ''#Commando3 is steady on Day 4... Mass markets continue to contribute... Eyes ₹ 30 cr <+/-> total in Week 1... Will cross *lifetime biz* of #Commando and #Commando2 in *Week 1* itself... Fri 4.74 cr, Sat 5.64 cr, Sun 7.95 cr, Mon 3.42 cr. Total: Rs 21.75 cr. #India biz.''

Helmed by Aditya Datt, the high-octane action drama also stars Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar, and Gulshan Devaiah in pivotal roles. The first two films in the franchise, fronted by Vidyut Jammwal, were released in 2013 and 2017. Vidyut fought for love in the first movie, while in the second he was against the corruption.

Commando 3 narrates the story of a vigilante Karanveer Singh Dogra (played by Vidyut Jammwal) who goes to London to stop a terrorist attack on India. Singh is tasked to team up with Mallika Sood (Dhar) from British Intelligence and Indian agent Bhawana Reddy (Sharama) to save the nation, and knock down Devaiah's evil plans.

Talking about the film, Aditya earlier told PTI, "My vision for 'Commando 3' was to keep the story narrative as strong, relevant and as driven as the action is in the film. With the third instalment of 'Commando', I want people to take away a thrilling experience with a touch of human emotion.''

"You will not only find some crazy self-done stunts by Vidyut but also a human side in him performing his character Karanveer Singh Dogra. He does have a tough and a worthy antagonist pitted against him essayed by Gulshan Devaiah," the director added.

The film was released alongside Anupam Kher and Dev Patel starrer 'Hotel Mumbai'. This film has raked in Rs 3 crore (approximately) till now.
