Salman Khan recently announced that Dabangg 3 that started its shoot a few weeks back will see a Christmas release. Immediately the tinsel town was buzz about the year’s biggest clash happening between Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra. but the makers now have smartly averted the situation by pushing the later to the next year.
Director Ayan Mukherji through a social media post has informed that the movie will open at the theatres not before the summers of 2020.
The filmmaker have cited that the VFX team working on the movie needs more time to ‘get the VFX right, to get the sound and music right and eventually to get the film right’
The Wake Up Sid director further said, “ I believe the extra time going into making the movie is essential to achieve the dream of Brahmastra, and I really hope that we make up for the delay by giving our movie-loving country something they can really love and feel proud of’
Ayan has not yet declared the date for the release and mentioned that the date will be announced officially after they are absolutely certain about it.
According to Ayan, brahmastra is a dream he has been persuing Yeh jawaani Hai Deewani released in 2013 and wants to offer the country something ‘amazing and next level…in terms of story, character and emotion, always, and also in terms of visual effects’.
