A few days back, it was reported that major fire broke out on the sets of Coolie No. 1 featuring Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. Although fortunately, no cast or crew member was present on the set when the incident took place but a large portion of the film set has been disrupted due to the fire. And now a recent report suggests that the sudden fire has led to a sizable monetary loss as well.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the producers are estimating a loss of Rs 2 to Rs 2.5 crores. However, the film is insured and the claim process will soon begin. The source revealed, "The major loss is that of the third party that supplied the material that was destroyed in the fire. The producers have estimated the loss at about Rs 2 crore to Rs 2.5 crore. The surveyor from the insurance department visited the set recently. He will file his report and only then will the claim process begin."
