Veteran actor Amitabh Bachhan has been constantly advising fans to stay safe and indoors during the coronavirus lockdown. From sharing poems to memes, the actor is keeping his fand engaged with his social media feeds. On Wednesday the actor came up with an innovative idea to increase the isolation ward facilities in India.

According to the actor in these times the empty rail coaches can be used as isolation wards during this difficult times when hospitals are facing crunch in providing facilities.  Big B sharing the  suggestion made by one of his fans wrote, "A most useful idea given on my Insta as a comment." The post shared by the actor opined that since trail services has been put on hold, the empty train coaches thare are large in number and has berths in place already can be put to use.  “One idea to be sent to all the government authorities. All train services are at standstill. The train wagons are idle. Each has 20 rooms which can be used. 3000 trains easily, all over India. Means 60,000 beds. Can be used in isolation in some cases. But in any case better than no hospitals.”

Earlier the actor made his fans aware that they should stay away from open air defecation. Referring to study by Lancet, Bachchan wanted to keep foward the point that COVID-19 virus cremains on human feaces for a longer time than it does on respiratory tract like throad or lung veins. Captioning the same, he wrote, "Corona A study in the @TheLancet shows that coronavirus lingers on human excreta much longer than in respiratory samples. Come on India, we are going to fight this ! Use your toilet: हर कोई, हर रोज़, हमेशा । Darwaza Band toh... Beemari Band! @swachhbharat @narendramodi @PMOIndia.

"
