Pankaj Tripathi and Vikrant Massey, who donned on roles as Kaleen Bhaiya and Babloo Pandit in Mirzapur are back again to deliver an epic punchline in crime series, Criminal Justice. The Hotstar series, which also marks the digital debut of veteran actor, Jackie Shroff just had its trailer release and it is as “intense and enriching ‘’ as Shroff quoted.
Hotstar Special just shared the trailer with a note that said, "A one night stand turns into a nightmare for Aditya, when he wakes up with blood on his hands. Is he #GuiltyorNot? #CriminalJustice, coming to #HotstarSpecials on 5 April."
The series is a remake of the acclaimed 2008 BBC show of the same name opens up with Aditya (Vikrant Massey), who is being questioned by police officials after being accused of rape and murder of a girl (Anupriya Goenka). Madhav Mishra, played by Pankaj Tripathi, decides to fight his case in the court to prove that he is innocent. In a dark twist of events, Madhav asks Aditya to plead guilty as there is no way out for him oblivious to the prison time bully and harassment that awaits him. We then see Jackie Shroff's character similar to that of Morgan Freeman in Shawshank Redemption, who guides him and gives him tips to survive in the jail.
