Earlier when the trailer of the film released,in a shot it showed a few Shivlings covered with wooden planks that led to controversies as well. During the shoot of the film in its first schedule, he the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) served notice to the production team of Salman Khan's Dabangg 3, asking them to remove two film's set pieces constructed inside Jal Mahal in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. The notice had that the sets constructed by the makers of the film were in violation of the Ancient Monument and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act 1958 as well as other rules.
In addition to this, a stone figurine at the fort located on the banks of the Narmada river in Maheshwar town too is reported to have gotten damaged on Sunday while removing the set. Turns out some heavy objects apparently hit the statue and a part of it broke.
Meanwhile a few supporters of Salman Khan, who are in opposition to the trend started trending #AwaitingDabangg3 on Twitter.
