'Dangal' box office report: Aamir Khan-starrer becomes highest grosser ever, beats 'PK' in 3rd week

Superstar Aamir Khan's recent release 'Dangal' has been on a roll ever since it has hit the theatres. The movie has been doing a commendable business at the box office and has been declared as the highest grossing Bollywood movie ever.

'Dangal', which is in its third week run at the box office has made a collection of Rs 330.96 cr.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the box office report of the Aamir Khan-starrer.

He even mentioned that 'PK' will surpass the life-time collections of Aamir's much popular movie 'PK' on Sunday. 'PK' made a business of Rs 340.8 crores.

He tweeted, "#Dangal hits double digits yet again on Sat... All set to cross #PK today ... Fri 6.66 cr, Sat 10.80 cr. Total: ₹ 330.96 cr."

Notably, 'Dangal' had crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in just 13 days of release unlike 'PK' which took 17 days to reach the mark.

In a series of tweet, Adarsh even gave a list of highest grossing Hindi movies, with 'Dangal' topping the charts.

Interestingly, 'Dangal' is not just ruling the box office in India, but is also doing wonders in the international market as well.

In one of his tweets, Taran Adarsh mentioned that 'Dangal' has become the highest grossing Hindi film in USA, Canada and Australia.

Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Dangal' is a biopic based on renowned wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his struggle to make his daughter world champions.

The movie also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra and was released on December 23.
