After setting many box office records since its blockbuster launch, Aamir Khan's Dangal created a unique record of sorts as it became the first Bollywood movie to collect Rs. 300 Crores as box office collection (India) well inside a fortnight.
The movie has entered the elite 300-crore club in just 13th day of its launch. With this, the film’s collections now read Rs 304.38 crore. Now that’s unprecedented as no other film has ever crossed the Rs. 300 crore mark in such quick time.
Aamir Khan would surely be proud of Dangal's soaring box office collections as the movie becomes his second film after PK to cross the triple century mark. PK went on to amass Rs. 340.8 crore in its lifetime run. While Dangal looks all set to surpass PK's collections, it has to be seen if it can go on to break more records at the box office.
As on date, only four Bollywood films have managed to enter the Rs. 300 Crore Club.Salman Khan has two blockbusters in Sultan (2016) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s PK and Dangal are the other two movies in the elite club.
