Deepika Padukone might now be unbeatable queen in the Bollywood sphere as being the first to enter the top five highest earning actors in Forbes. But long before this gorgeous diva became the muse of successful filmmakers such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his blockbuster smashes, there was Aishwarya Rai. The former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, was the go-to actor for film hits such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas among others. And if airs of gossips are to be believed Aish was reported to have felt threatened when Deepika replaced her reign as the filmmaker's choice. This Was reported to have ignited a breach of the relationship between the two.

The Isha Ambani wedding which saw the gathering of all the Bollywood A-listers also proved to be a reconciliation event for many. From exs Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor to Salman Khan and Aish letting the past a story-erased. Another relationship to have been rebuilt was reported to be that of Aish and Deepika. An eye-witness at the Isha-Piramal wedding recounted the meet of the two celebs by stating, "The ice didn't just break. It shattered into smithereens. They looked like two inseparable pals. I still remember how the two of them royally ignored one another at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 50th birthday party. Aishwarya made sure to leave the minute Deepika arrived." The duo was also spotted having the time of their lives at their wedding and some even went as far as calling them the 'new bffs in B-town'.

Recently Forbes named Padukone as the only newcomer to the World’s Highest-Paid Actresses ranking and the only Indian star to make the cut placing her in the ranks of Hollywood star Charlize Theron. Deepika will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar about an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal alive on celluloid which she will also produce. Aishwarya meanwhile will be seen alongside her husband Abhishek Bachchan in Sarvesh Mewara's Gulab Jamun.
