We all know that Deepika Padukone was in a steady relationship with Ranbir Kapoor a few years back. However, even after they broke up, the two actors share a cordial relationship and have even worked together like true professionals. The former couple recently re-united for an ad shoot and also attended an event ‘Dreaming With The Stars’ together on Monday night.

Recently, Ranveer was asked if he is ever insecure about Deepika working with her ex Ranbir Kapoor. To this, he had replied, ''Do I seem like an insecure person, really? I am not an insecure type at all. I am extremely secure in who I am and what I am. I know that nobody can love her the way I do, so it’s cool.''

The actor had also said that he is looking forward to work with Ranbir Kapoor in the future. ''We have had many opportunities to work together but none of them has worked out. But you never say never. I have a feeling it will happen in the near future. Hopefully, I would like it to happen sooner rather than later. And I know he wants to collaborate too. So let’s hope it happens. I think it will be quite epic,'' he had said.Â
On the work front, Deepika, will be next seen in Chhapaak, based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Ranbir, on the other hand, will be seen in Brahmastra opposite girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
