It’s one year since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh exchanged vows at an exotic location in Italy and to mark the first year, Bollywood’s coolest couple has paid visit to Lord Venkateswara shrine at Tirumala.
Deepika recently posted a picture from their visit to the temple where she is seen wearing a heavily embellished red sari with gold jewellery and her chirpy smile. Ranveer gazing deeply to his lady love is seen wearing a off white kurta and a red chadar. The shrine of Tirumala overlooks the couple as they seem to be lost in each other.
Deepika sharing the picture thanked her fans and friends for their blessings. “As we celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Thank You all for your love ,prayers and good wishes!” read the post. Reports suggest the duo will next visit the holy shrine of Harmandir Sahib, Golden Temple in Amritsar.
DeepVeer tied the knot in November 2018, in a secret dual-ceremony in Italy’s Lake Como and hosted grand receptions upon their return to India. Just like their wedding ceremonies, their anniversary celebrations will also be a private affair.
The power couple was recently spotted having a gala time at their friend's wedding in Bengaluru. The Chhapaak actress, however, fell ill after attending the wedding. She took to Instagram to inform her followers about her health. Sharing a picture of sick herself, she wrote, "When you have too much fun at your best friend's wedding."
On the work front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reuniting for the first time onscreen after their wedding with Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports drama, 83. The actress is playing Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia in the film, which sees Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. Deepika will also be next seen in Chhapaak, slated for a release on January 10, 2020. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal, played by Deepika. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in an important role.
