Deepika Padukone, who is quite close to her father Prakash, chose the most adorable way to former badminton player on his 62nd birthday. She took it to Instagram and shared a throwback picture of herself with her dad. In this heart-melting picture, Deepika is seen as a toddler wearing a red and white frock as she posed happily with her father, who was indeed a handsome young man in his early days.
While this picture was making us drool, Deepika's caption made everyone go aww. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Pappa…I Love You!”

Deepika's overwhelming bond with her father has been quite evident. The father-daughter have often credited her sense of discipline and never-say-die spirit towards work to her father. In fact, the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress was all teary eyed, when she read a heart-warming letter by her father after she received the Best Actress Award for her performance for her 2015 release 'Piku'.

On the front, Deepika Padukone is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming period drama 'Padmavati'. Also starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the movie is slated to release on November 17 this year.
