Deepika Padukone is currently in Delhi for the promotions of her upcoming film, Chhappak which is based on the life of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. For the promotional event, Deepika sported a light pink sweater dress amd needless to say, she looked stunning as always.

The Padmaavat actress wore a pink turtle neck sweater and pink pants. She completed her look with light makeup and kajal. Actor Vikarant Massey was also spotted during the promotions. He looked dapper in a white and black combination.

Deepika also released a dialogue promo on Instagram. The video showed Deepika's character Malti trying to look for a job while being shunned by the people around.

The actress celebrated her 34th birthday with acid attack survivors in Lucknow. Laxmi Agarwal, director Meghna Gulzar and Ranveer Singh had also joined her.

Revealing her birthday plans, the actress had earlier told HT, "I will be in Lucknow to celebrate the day at a cafe run by acid attack survivors. I will be with them for a day. I have spent a considerable amount of time with many of them during the making of the film. So it was important for me to be with them on my special day."

Meanwhile, talking about the film, Deepika said at an event ''The entire journey was special. I don’t think I can speak of a particular moment or scene as the closest to my heart. I think the entire journey and process has been extremely rewarding. It’s the film I am most proud of, among all that I have done in my career. I am not thinking much about people’s reactions after its release because that is a different aspect, but this film is something I am proud of, and I am proud that the entire team had faith in Meghna’s (Gulzar) vision.''

The film is slated to hit the theatres on 10 January 2020.
