Deepika Padukone is unleashing her socially extrovert self and leaving no stone unturned to promote Chhapaak her first production venture and come back movie in all social media platforms. Looks like the actress is not just taking dancing lessons from new friend Kartik Aaryan but also following his footsteps to be socially more available. The actress just made her debut in video making app TikTok.
Available under the handle @deepikapadukone, the actress’ verified account has already garnered a record breaking 1.2 million followers and 5.3 million likes. Deepika has posted six videos. In two of the videos we see her matching footsteps to Laxmi Aggarwal, the acid attack survivor on whom Chhapaak is based. One of her videos show her grooving to Bajirao Mastani’s hit number ‘Pinga’ with another Tik Tok user.

Deepika has also tried her hands in rapping where we seen her tapping her foot to arap nu,ber that goes, “Yeh Ladki Bhuchaal hai nai, har role pe kamaal hai na…” with rapstar AbyViral.
Chaapak releases on January 10. The actress recently launched the title track of the film that received much applause for its bold lyrics that narrate the ordeal of an acid attack victim. Talking about turning producer, Deepika said “I became a producer because I want to reach more people and create an impact through my films. Cinema is such a powerful tool. You want to use that sensibly. You want to use that wisely. I may not be able to do that every single time, but at least that is the intention,"
