Amidst the ongoing buzz over superstar Salman Khan's conviction in the blackbuck poaching case, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's much-awaited wedding has been hogging the headlines for a while.
There have been reports that the couple is all set to take the plunge now after dating each other for almost four years.
Indeed the gossip mills are abuzz about this most awaited wedding. And finally, Deepika Padukone has broken her silence on her wedding reports and said that she see herself as a working wife.
The actress, during her recent interview, stated that marriage is an important part of her life and that she will continue to work post-wedding.
However, Deepika also mentioned that her wedding will happen when it is destined to happen.
"Marriage is an important institution for me. I've seen my parents, and it's the way that I've been brought up. When it is the right time, I'll feel it. It'll happen when it has to happen," Deepika said in a recent interview with Film Companion.
She added, "It's too much a part of my life for me to say I can walk away from work. But I think that home, family, parents, marriage - these things are very important for me. Today I can see myself as a working wife or mother. I think I'd drive everybody around me mad if I didn't work."
Interestingly, there have been reports that Deepika and Ranveer will be tying the knot by the end of this year.
The reports also suggested that the bride-to-be has even begun her bridal shopping spree.
"It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow," a source reportedly told Mumbai Mirror.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen working with Karan Johar for the his debut in an advertisement which will be produced produced under Dharma Productions brand called Dharma 2.0.
Besides, Ranveer Singh is busy with Zoya Akhtar's upcoming directorial Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt.
