Fans were left teary-eyed when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in two extravagant wedding ceremonies in Lake Como, Italy. It has been more than a week since the wedding, yet photos from the functions are still creating quite the frenzy on social media.
The Bajirao Mastani stars, who tied the sacred knot a week ago, are now sailing in the epitome of their celebratory events, one party at a time. Over the weekend, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone kicked off the Mumbai chapter of post-wedding festivities with a party at a suburban five star. After dancing the night away at a DJ bash, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are set to throw their second wedding reception in Mumbai today.
The event will take place at Grand Hyatt and is again expected to a function only for close family and friends. Several members of the media have also been invited for the reception. Today’s event is hosted by Bhavnanis for their extended family and friends. Reports suggest that Ranveer’s father, Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani's friends will be attending the celebration in huge numbers. Apart from them, Ranveer's extended family is expected to turn up in big numbers for this function.
The couple is once again expected to dress up in their Ethnic best after being styled by ace designer, Sabyasachi for the previous wedding festivities. All eyes are once again on the newlyweds and the designer as to see what they bring to the table with today’s event that is expected to kickstart at 8:00 PM tonight.
The newly-weds will also host a star-studded reception in Mumbai on December 1, also at the same venue, The Grand Hyatt. This event will see the entire Bollywood turning up to bless the new couple.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh dated for six years before they made their relationship official and got married. The couple has done three films together, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
