Deepika Padukone is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming period drama and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture ‘Padmavati’. And to keep the movie spirit alive, she is wearing a lot of saris at public events these days.
Recently, on the second day of GQ Fashion Nights 2017 event, Deepika wore a gold-black saree designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji.
Her beautiful saree grabbed all the eyes at the event. The saree was given a modern twist which featured an embellished skirt and a bralette design blouse.
The outfit has a black pallu like fabric which was draped across her body along with a leather belt which secured the pallu. And the deep-neck blouse added much to the glamour quotient of the actress.
Deepika appearance was also no less, she had a cute ponytail with smokey eyes, dewy make-up and nude lips. She was also wearing only a pair of earrings.
Not many actresses in the industry can carry ethnic as well as contemporary look like Deepika Padukone does.
On the work front, currently she is awaiting the release of controversial period drama flick ‘Padmavati’. Post that, she has a small role in Anand L Rai’s upcoming film which features Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
