Deepika Padukone unveiled her wax statue in Madame Tussauds, London. Both Deepika and husband Ranveer Singh were present during the event.
The unveiling of Padmaavat actor's wax statue was streaming live on her Instagram handle from London for her fans who are now equally overwhelmed by this prestigious event.Â
The statue looked so real that the Gully Boy actor couldn't take his eyes off her. He kept on circling the statue and even said,"Can I take it home."
Deepika was dressed in white pantsuit while Ranveer was wearing high neck shirt and blazers. Families of the couple were also there during the unveiling of the statue.
Deepika announced in July last year that her statue is in pipeline. "It's fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then itâ€™s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.â€
The statue is a replica of Deepika's IIFA Awards 2016 look in Madrid when she donned a champagne coloured cape lehenga by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The statue has replicated every minute details of her look be it her emerald neckpiece and earrings to Deepika's embellished lehenga, every detail has been replicated for her statue.Â
