Husband and wife, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s look for their husband and wife role in Kapil Dev’s biopic, 83, as the former Indian cricket captain and wife Romi Dev has been released. Sharing her look in the sports drama with Ranveer Singh, Deepika, sporting short hair with high-neck top wrote on her social media handle,
"To be able to play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour. I've seen very closely the role a wife plays in the success of her husband’s professional and personal aspirations in my mother and 83 for me in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own... (sic)."

As for Ranveer Singh who is already slaying his look as the cricket maestro, the star in conversation with ETimes earlier said, "2020 is very exciting because '83' is coming up. The first few looks that we have released have been loved and appreciated that very exciting for us. The entire nation is waiting for '83' because there is such nostalgia attached to it. It is like a responsibility on me, Kabir sir and the entire team that we have to make sure to give them something that makes them feel proud. The team of '83', this is the highlight of their life, it was defining chapter in their life. If we can make them feel proud then we have achieved something".
The shooting of Kabir Khan's 83 which is reported to have completed in October, last year opens in the theatres this April 10.
