The original film Sairat was a gigantic success at the box office, and such was the craze of the original that theatres had to add up additional shows at midnight and 3 am to control the demand.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the love story is about Madhukar Bagla (Ishaan Khatter) and Parthavi Singh (Janhvi Kapoor), who hail from different castes.
Everything goes out of control when Parthavi’s family comes to know about their relation and the couple is forced to run away secretly. But the film is not about fairytale romance, as the audience watching the film discovers shortly.
Fans were excited to see if Dhadak could recreate original Sairat’s magical touch and till now it seems that they have been successful in doing that.
