The buzz from B-town has been strongly suggesting that after John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan, Salman Khan will be seen in the fourth instalment of Yash Raj Films' jazzy action franchise Dhoom.
But now since Salman has replaced Saif Ali Khan in Race 3, it is believed that not Salman but YRF’s favourite Shah Rukh Khan might be filling in the boots to play the lead in Dhoom 4.
This might hold water as SRK has been the undisputed champion in pulling negative characters with panache. As reported by BollywoodLife.com, Shah Rukh is a pro in playing grey shades with conviction on-screen, and in 'Dhoom' franchise the protagonist is essentially a baddie, so we might see him in top form once again.
According to a source, “Adi wants to take Dhoom 4 to the next level and he’s asked Maneesh Sharma to write the film. He’s currently scripting it. For those in the know, Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor (director of Dhoom 3) is now busy with Thugs of Hindostan. So the film will change hands again. Maneesh will probably direct it as well.”
Shah Rukh and Maneesh have previously worked together in 'FAN'.
