Vicky Kaushal’s dialogue 'How’s the Josh?' from his last film, Uri: The Surgical Strike got the entire nation buzzing about it. While Uri became a blockbuster and entered the top 10 highest-grossing films ever, the dialogue has been etched in the minds of Hindi movie lovers. However, in a recent interview, director Aditya Dhar has revealed that at one point during the shoot, he was about to change the line following a suggestion from Vicky.
''We first shot the line ‘How’s the josh?’ during the Myanmar sequence. Two minutes before the camera rolled, Vicky came to me and asked me to change the line because he thought somewhere the ‘feel’ was not coming. I tried to explain that to motivate their team, army commanders talk like that, so let’s give it a try,'' Aditya Dhar revealed in a candid chat with screenplay writer Robin Bhatt on Wartalaap, a programme by the Screenwriters Association (SWA) in Mumbai, as reported by HT.
''I still remember when Vicky said that line for the first time, 30 members of our team had goosebumps on hearing it,'' he added.Â
Uri has proved to be a turning point of Vicky Kaushal’s career. The film has surpassed Rs 200 crore mark and has made Vicky one of the most promising talent in Bollywood. On Uri’s success, Vicky Kaushal had earlier said, "I have worked really hard to get this pressure. It feels good when you get so much love and appreciation from the audience. You can say to yourself that now you can't take anything for granted. So, I'm just focusing on working hard every day of my life."Â
