Days after being hospitalised, legendary actor Dilip Kumar's health is showing some improvement and is said to be stable now. Dilip was rushed Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Wednesday after suffering from kidney - related ailments and dehydration.
Since then, it was reported that the creatinine level in his blood was rising which signified impaired kidney function. However, a family friend on Sunday confirmed that the veteran actor is doing much better now.
The family friend, Faisal Farooqui, shared an update about Kumar's health on the actor's official Twitter page. "Dilip Saab is doing much better now. Please remember him in your prayers. -FF," he posted.
"The excellent team of doctors and staff of Lilavati Hospital along with Saira Baaji are caring for Dilip Saab 24x7. -FF," Faisal added.
Hospital officials had earlier said because of his age, Kumar would be under observation and remain in the ICU for the next two or three days, depending on how his body responds to treatment.
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who is known as the tragedy king of Bollywood was last seen in 1998 release 'Qila' and was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
