It was on Koffee with Karan when Sara Ali Khan revealed that she finds Kartik Aaryan cute and would want to go on a date with him. Ever since the two have been a part of rumours mills. Later the duo signed a film together and started shooting for Aaj Kal directed by Imtiaz Ali. Post the wrap of the film, the two shared heartfelt posts for each other which made their fans completely awestruck. Now recently it was reported that the two lovebirds have broken up. While fans are curious to know about their relationship status, Kartik and Sara have remained mum.
Amidst the breakup rumours, Sara and Kartik came together on Sunday to dub for their respective parts in the film. The couple was all smiles for the paparazzi and even posed together. Kartik also opened the car's door for Sara.
During an interaction with Hindustan Times, Kartik addressed the multiple linkups he's had this year and said he has been focusing on his work. "I have never spoken about my personal life as I don’t like to. More importantly, I am not the only one involved, there’s someone else as well. So, it’s better ki main chup hi rahun. I can just say that I am in a happy phase in all aspects of life – personally and professionally."
Speaking about his first release of 2020, called as Love Aaj Kal 2, the actor said he is going to cherish the movie. "I am very excited about Imtiaz [Ali] sir’s next, which comes out on Valentine’s Day. That has been one experience I’ll always cherish," he said.
Kartik and Sara allegedly started dating on the sets of their forthcoming film Love Aaj Kal 2. The two were also often seen expressing their fondness for each other on the social media. The two reportedly parted ways as they were unable to take out time for each other because of their busy work schedule.
Apart from Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik will be seen in Dostana 2 which will be produced by Dharma Productions. The movie will feature actors Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya. He will also feature in the Anees Bazmee horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiya 2. On the other hand, Sara will be next seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Coolie No 1, a remake of the 1995 original film by the same name which was directed by David Dhawan himself.
