Fans drive Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero to Rs 100-crore club, troll Taran Adarsh for giving poor ratings

As Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback on the Big screen after a gap of almost one and a half year after Jab Harry met Sejal, SRK fans worldwide were waiting eagerly for Zero’s release, only to get disappointed. 

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero is for those who don’t fit in. But Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is struggling to make its place at the ticket window this week. Blame it on the lacklustre script but immaculate acting by all the actors impressed all. Zero, however, is having a lagging run at the box office, despite extensive promotions and widest release in around 4,380 screens.

After witnessing an underwhelming opening weekend in the cinemas, Day 4 of Zero’s box office collection was nothing remarkable but the film has managed to enter the coveted 100-crore club through a massive SRK fan base

With Rs 72 crore at the domestic window, Zero has grossed Rs 35 crore at the overseas box office, taking its worldwide weekend total to Rs 107 crore, thereby hitting a century.

Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma-starrer Zero received mix reviews and the Netizens began writing their reactions on social media. A certain chunk of audience rejected it and trade analysts ended up in disappointment.

Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions come together to bring Zero. Produced by Gauri Khan, starring Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, the Aanand L. Rai directorial is still running in theatres.
