After Farhan Akhtar's divorce, Shraddha Kapoor opens up on their relationship

Shraddha Kapoor has finally cleared the air about her relationship status with Farhan Akhtar and stated the two are just good friends. The diva's statement came after Farhan officially got divorced with wife Adhuna Bhabhani recently. Farhan and Adhuna called off their 16-year wedding last year and announced their separation with a joint statement

Although, the now ex-couple didn't divulge in the reason behind their separation, it was reported that it was Farhan's rumoured extra-marital affair with Shraddha Kapoor that made them call it quits. But Shraddha has cleared the air on these rumours and gave a stern response saying people's imagination often goes beyond heights. "The level of fiction can go to incredible heights. I choose to ignore them and just focus on my work," Shraddha told an entertainment portal.

Interestingly, there were reports that Shraddha and Farhan had moved in for a live-in relationship after which the 'Baaghi' actress' father Shakti Kapoor got her out of Akhtar's house. Earlier, Farhan too had dismissed the reports of dating Shraddha and reportedly stated that these rumours does bother him to some extent.

On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is busy promoting her upcoming movie 'Half Girlfriennd' opposite Arjun Kapoor. Helmed by Mohit Suri, the movie is slated to release on May 19.
