Although the actor hasn't mentioned the reason behind his big decision but it is speculated that Farhan has quit the social networking site after Facebook faced worldwide criticism over the claims that Cambridge Analytica, the UK data analysis firm hired by Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, harvested and misused data on 50 million members.
Earlier, several international celebs like Elon Musk, Jim Carrey, and Singer Cher too have deleted their Facebook accounts.
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is currently busy with Don 3.
As per the recent buzz, the third installment of the Don series will also feature Farhan along with Shah Rukh Khan.
"Farhan will also act in this film. He will play a desi top cop to Shah Rukh’s Don. Since a portion of the film will be set in India, Farhan will be seen donning the policeman’s uniform in the film," a source reportedly told DNA.
