The much-anticipated 64th Filmfare Awards 2019 is held with much grandeur and zeal at Mumbai's iconic Jio Garden, applauding the best talents in cinema for their remarkable works and significant contribution to the Indian Film Industry throughout the year. As the excitement surrounding the Bollywood extravaganza is larger than ever, here is the list of films, actors, directors, music and lyricist which/who made it to the list of winners in the star-studded night.
While Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi has been announced the Best Film of the year 2018, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor bagged the Best Actor Award for their mind-boggling performance in Raazi and Sanju respectively. Meghna Gulzar has taken home the iconic Black Lady for showcasing her spectacular directorial skill in Raazi.
Alia (Raazi) competes with Deepika Padukone (Padmaavat) in the Best Actor (Female) category while Ranbir Kapoor (Sanju), Akshay Kumar (Padman) and Ayushman Khurrana (Badhaai Ho) contest to take home the prestigious Best Actor (Male) award this evening. The movies which found places in the list of nomination for the Best Film category are - Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Padmaavat, Raazi, Sanju and Stree.

Amar Kaushik (Stree), Amit Sharma (Badhaai Ho), Meghna Gulzar (Raazi), Rajkumar Hirani (Sanju), Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Padmaavat), Sriram Raghavan (Andhadhun) were the contenders for the Best Director Award.
Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat has led the race with the highest number of nominations (17) in every possible category, while Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi gave a tough competition to the Deepika Padukone-starrer with as many as 15 nominations in the Filmfare Awards 2019.
Apart from celebrating the best, the starry night has witnessed some of the most fashionable red-carpet appearances and sizzling performances by Bollywood biggies, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and many more. Moreover, the King of Bollywood SRK presiding over the prestigious show along with B-town heartthrob Vicky Kaushal was another special attraction of the night.
