Filmfare Awards 2019: When Alia Bhatt said 'I Love You' to 'special one' Ranbir Kapoor

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.

It was all hearts for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor at the 64th Filmfare Awards on Saturday night. While both emerged winners in their respective categories --- Alia was adjudged the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her mind-blowing performance as Sehmat in Raazi, and Ranbir won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for portrayal of the titular role in Sanju --- it was their camaraderie at the event that became the talk of the town. The adorable couple, who have been dating ever since they were on the sets of their next film 'Brahmastra', were seated next to each other at the event.

It is no news now that Alia and Ranbir are Bollywood’s sweethearts and as Alia lifted the coveted ‘Black Lady’, she was both ecstatic and emotional all at once. She said, "Meghna, for me, Raazi is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick. Vicky, without you, the film wouldn’t be complete. Thank you, my mentor, Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight is all about love; there, my special one, I love you (she said pointing at the one and only Ranbir)."

On the other hand, when Ranbir's name was announced as the winner, he first kissed Alia, who was sitting right next to him.

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra --- the first part of a trilogy which will be released in December this year and we surely can’t keep calm!!

Bollywood's biggest award night -  Filmfare Awards 2019 - ended on a celebratory note for Team Raazi, which grabbed with five awards. Ranveer Singh won Critics' Award for Best Actor (Male) for Padmaavat while Neena Gupta won Critics' Award for Best Actor (Female) for Badhaai Ho.
