Filmfare awards are considered to be the prestigious awards in the industry.
But the honorable awards are getting rolled on micro-blogging site Twitter ever since the Filmfare nominations have been announced.
And the reason is Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
Much to everyone's surprise, Akshay Kumar has been given a royal ignore at the Filmfare nominations this year, despite giving phenomenal performances in 'Airlift' and 'Rustom'.
Overlooking Akshay's phenomenal contribution in 2016 has certainly not gone down well with Twitterati, who has been lashing out at the jury on social media.
Interestingly, 'Filmfare Awards On Sale' has been trending furiously on Twitter.
Several Twitter users have expressed their anger saying these Awards are not real and are urging people to boycott these awards.

As per the Filmfare nominations list revealed last night, the three Khans have been ruling most of the categories.
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' was said to be the first hit of 2016 as it was the first movie to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club.
Besides, 'Rustom' too had won a lot of appreciation from the critics as well as the audience.
Notably, this is not the first time, Akshay has been dissed by the Filmfare.
Earlier, Akki's 'Baby' too had failed to get any recognition at the award show.
