Film director Suvahhdan Angre has filed a complaint that he has received an anonymous letter threatening him with death if he went ahead with the release of his forthcoming film “Billu Ustad”, police said on Monday.
Sahakar police station officials said that a non-cognisable offence had been registered and investigations were underway.
Officials said that the letter, written in Hindi, alleged that the director had portrayed a particular community in a bad light in the film.
