Comedian Kapil Sharmaâ€™s second film â€˜Firangiâ€™ faced a dip at the box-office on Monday. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi is based on pre-independence era and the story revolves around a boy who lands up with a job with British govt.
After facing slow weekend, â€˜Firangiâ€™ still drops on the fourth day and churned just around Rs 1 crore.
Trade analyst Girash Johar took his Twitter handle to share the box-office collection of â€˜Firangiâ€™ and wrote, â€˜â€™Monday BO estimates aprox rs #Firangi 0.90 #Tera Intezaar 0.20â€™â€™.

Dec 1 â€“ Friday â€“ Rs 1.8 crore
Dec 2 â€“ Saturday â€“ Rs 2 crore
Dec 3 â€“ Sunday â€“ Rs 2.5 crore
Dec 4 â€“ Monday â€“ Rs 1 crore
As per trade sources, â€˜Firangiâ€™ is made with a budget of Rs 25 crore which includes prints and advertising.
Even, Kapilâ€™s first film â€˜Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoonâ€™ performed very well at the box-office and bagged Rs. 62 crore in India.
Released on December 1, â€˜Firangiâ€™ also stars Ishita Dutta, Monica Gill in key roles.Â
