Comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to make return on the big screen with his upcoming flick titled ‘Firangi’. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, the movie is produced under Kapil’s home production K9 Productions.
‘Firangi’ is the second film of Kapil’s filmography after Abbas Mustan’s ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’.
In the motion poster shared by Kapil himself on Twitter, the comedian is dressed as a sepoy and literally kicked out a ‘firangi’ out of the frame.
In the past, Kapil Sharma left no stone unturned in promoting his upcoming venture on his comedy show. But, after his show went off-air, he took a short break from his busy schedule. And now, he has finally returned with full concentration on ‘Firangi’.
In a recent chat on Twitter, Kapil Sharma confirmed the news of his return on television soon but currently he is concentrating only on Firangi’s promotion. He further slammed the rumour of his show going off-air due to bad ratings.
Talking about his film, Kapil said that he also had lend his voice to a song in Firangi’.
The story of ‘Firangi’ revolves around a small-town boy and his love affair with a NRI girl which is played by Monica Gill.
‘Firangi’ also feature Ishita Dutta and Raju Srivastava in pivotal roles.
