Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who has won the hearts with her stellar performance in her last release 'Kahaani 2', is now gearing up for her next project 'Begum Jaan'.
Vidya will be seen playing the titular role in the movie and will be seen a madam of a brothel.
While the actress is still shooting for the movie, a picture from the sets of 'Begum Jaan' is doing the rounds on social media, giving a glimpse of Vidya's character in the movie.
In the picture, the 'Kahaani' actress is seen puffing a hookah as she lies on a cot boasting a complete deglam avatar.
Her fierce looks in the picture are promising another powerful performance by the diva.
Besides, Vidya, 'Begum Jaan' also stars television actress Gauahar Khan, who too has deglammed for the movie.
While the makers are yet to release the official look of the movie, several fan pages having been sharing the pictures on micro-blogging site Twitter. Besides Gauahar too retweeted the picture on her Twitter handle dropping major hints about this being their first look from 'Begum Jaan'.

Interestingly, this is the first time Khan will be sharing the screen space with Vidya Balan.
Though, not much details are revealed about Gauahar's character, it is reported that she will be portraying a supporting role in the movie, which deals with the trauma faced by displaced women in a brothel during the Partition of India.
'Begum Jaan' is based on the widely acclaimed Bengali film Rajkahini.
The movie has been passed with an A-certificate by the Censor Board, who seemed to have been a little lenient with 'Begum Jaan' and didn't ask for any cuts in the movie.
Helmed by National Award winner director Srijit Mukerji, 'Begum Jaan' will be his Bollywood directorial debut.Â
The movie is slated to release on March 17.
