The first episode of Game of Thrones left its fans gasping for a breather. With emotion re-unions, romantic joyrides, dramatic faceoffs and gruesome plotting, the twitter went berserk over the premiere of Game of Thrones final season.
A lot of memes hit the Internet ranging from Danny's dragon weirdest expression when it saw its mommy sharing an intimate moment with Jon Snow to Bran seeing Jamie the person responsible for making him crippled and even Cersei Lannister's obsession for elephants. All these moments caught the imagination of social media.
But one scene that particularly stood out was Euron Greyjoy meeting Cersei Lannister at King's Landing where he arrives with Golden Company's head and informs her they have 20,000 men, 2000 horses but no elephants.Â
Euron, on the other hand, demands courting the queen as a reward to his services to the queen in the presence of Mountain and Qyburn. Yep.
"If you want a whore, buy one. If you want a queen, earn her," Cersei says before retracting to her chambers.Â
To this Euron retracts saying, he has given the queen justice and an army and yet then she shows no sign of affection, that breaks his heart.
The queen warns that she has executed men for less to which he replied; "They were lesser men"
As she proceeds towards her chambers, she turns back and gestures him to follow her, something that instantly caught the fancy of the desi GoT and Shah Rukh fans who compared the scene with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge's signature sequence where Kajol turns back while returning to the train while on their Europe journey.
Euron's voice was replaced by Raj's from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, in the iconic scene where he says, "Raj, agar yeh tujhe pyaar karti hai, toh yeh palat ke dekhegi... palat....palat. (If she's in love with me, she's going to turn around.)"
