Akshay Kumar’s festive release Good Newwz is all set to open at theatres next weekend. The movie makers recently dropped the second trailer of the movie and a specific dialogue did not go well with a section of the netizens.

In the second trailer of the film, a man says “Mere Bache ka naam Hola Ram hai kyunki vo Holi pe paida hua tha”, to which Akshay replies “Acha hua apka bacha Lohri pe paida nahi hua.”

Twitterati in turn criticised Akshay and alleged that the actor has abused Lord Ram.

Good Newwz is a light-hearted comedy that follows the lives of two married couples: Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor; Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The story of the film revolves around two married couples and their journey of love. Akshay and Kareena are seen as Mr. and Mrs. Batra, trying to conceive a baby. On the other hand, Diljit and Kiara too, who share the same surname, also plan to have a baby through IVF. And the real twist comes when Kareena’s eggs are fertilized with Diljit’s sperm and Kiara’s eggs are fertilized with Akshay’s sperm.
