The second trailer of the much-awaited film, Good Newwz featuring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh is out and it will surely leave you in splits! The film is based on IVF treatment.

The story of the film revolves around two married couples and their journey of love. Akshay and Kareena are seen as Mr. and Mrs. Batra, trying to conceive a baby. On the other hand, Diljit and Kiara too, who share the same surname, also plan to have a baby through IVF. And the real twist comes when Kareena’s eggs are fertilized with Diljit’s sperm and Kiara’s eggs are fertilized with Akshay’s sperm.
On recently organised Agenda AajTak 2019, Akshay Kumar spoke in a session titled Sabse Bada Khiladi. The khiladi of Bollywood discussed about Good Newwz.
When asked about censorship, Akshay said, "I went for a TV show once, they were showing the trailer of my film Good Newwz, and the channel had beeped out the word sperm. I was upset; I asked them how can you do that? Sperm is not a bad word, it's a natural word, and my film is an educational film. Like Padman, people should know about sanitary pads."
The film was earlier named Good Newwz but was underwent a spelling change. Producer Karan Johar had announced the name change on Akshay’s 52nd birthday in September. The film has been produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Akshay's Cape of Good Films. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 27.
