The trailer of the much-awaited film, Good Newwz featuring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh is finally OUT! Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the trailer and captioned the video as, "Celebrate this Christmas with the Batra's & the biggest goof-up! #GoodNewwzTrailer."
The perfect coming timing and quirky dialogues are sure to leave you in splits. The story of the film revolves around two married couples and their journey of love. Akshay and Kareena are seen as Mr. and Mrs. Batra, trying to conceive a baby. On the other hand, Diljit and Kiara too, who share the same surname, also plan to have a baby through IVF. And the real twist comes when Kareena’s eggs are fertilized with Diljit’s sperm and Kiara’s eggs are fertilized with Akshay’s sperm.
The makers are calling the film the ‘biggest goof-up of the year’ as it arrives around the Christmas and New Year season at the end of this year.

Before the trailer release, Akshay treated fans with a quirky poster that features the four actors huddled together with an excited look on their faces.
Akshay had unveiled the first official poster last week. It showed him and Diljit Dosanjh squeezed between Kareena and Kiara Advani’s baby bumps.

The film brings Akki and Bebo together on the screen 11 years after their 2009 release Kambakkht Ishq.
Talking about her character in Good Newwz, Kareena had said, ''Hopefully it'll be a part which will be remembered because it's socially relevant. It's a strong character. The best part is it'll be completely different than what I did in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' as Poo.''
The film was earlier named Good News but was underwent a spelling change. Producer Karan Johar had announced the name change on Akshay’s 52nd birthday in September. The film has been produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Akshay's Cape of Good Films. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 27.
