The global search engine Google today celebrated iconic singer Mukesh’s 93rd birthday. The doodle on Indian homepage shows a handsome smiling man with neatly combed wavy hair. The iconic singer in 50s and 60s was the man with the golden voice.
The Delhi-born singer, first rose to fame with Raj Kapoor's Andaz in 1949 and became the voice of many Indian actors throughout his singing career.
The Google Doodle also shows a snowy background, in which the Amitabh-Rakhee starrer Kabhie Kabhie, with a couple holding each other. The movie earned him the Filmfare award for best male playback singer for "Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein" song, which still finds its place in the lives of young and old lovers alike.
